Our work as photographers is characterized by contact with people, by the need to get closer to better capture their emotions and thus enter the nuances of their history.

Unfortunately, in these quarantine days we also had to stop, but it was not a work stop, but a moment of pause to start the ideas and recreate our work in order not to lose the technique and the creative vein and give the opportunity to couples who had already hired us to live their couple’s photoshoot at home.

To do this, we started from pre-production; once we created the moodboard for the photo shoot with the couple we had to devise the way to take photos from a distance while maintaining the highest quality that we always provide to the customer in our services.

So we asked the couple to get some tools they already had: a reflex (any type as long as it is digital), a tripod, a cable to connect the reflex to the computer and two software to monitor the reflex and the computer remotely.

We made an appointment for the video call and after setting up the reflex and organizing the scene and shot we started shooting.

A perfect relationship was established immediately, even if at a distance, and the couple was able to enjoy every moment in total intimacy without the direct presence of the photographer.

We have therefore given the opportunity to our protagonists to be at the same time assistant photographers and photographed subjects allowing them to experience the intimacy of the moment in their home and organizing the service at their convenience.

What can I say: a blockbuster!

They had a lot of fun taking a direct part also technically in the service and seeing the result live on the computer. They have already asked us to reply as soon as possible 😉

An idea that we want to replicate also in the coming months to give all couples the opportunity to experience a photo shoot made in part by them too.
