WEDDING IN A VENETIAN VILLA IN ITALY

A WEDDING IN A VENETIAN VILLA IN ITALY: THE ULTIMATE ITALIAN ROMANCE

If you’re looking for a truly romantic and unforgettable wedding destination, you might want to consider a Venetian villa. Venetian villas are historic and elegant mansions that were once the homes of wealthy Venetian nobles. They feature beautiful architecture, stunning gardens, and panoramic views of the countryside, making them the perfect backdrop for a dreamy wedding.

Italy has always been a popular wedding destination, and it’s not hard to see why. With its stunning landscapes, rich history, and delicious food and wine, it’s the perfect place to say “I do.” If you’re considering a wedding in Italy, you might want to consider Villa Revedin, a beautiful villa located in Treviso, a charming town in the Veneto region.

Villa Revedin is a historic villa that dates back to the 17th century. It features stunning architecture and beautiful gardens that make it a perfect setting for a romantic wedding. The villa is located in a peaceful area surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, offering a serene and intimate atmosphere for your special day.

The villa has several spaces that can be used for different parts of the wedding, such as the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The elegant indoor spaces are decorated with frescoes and antique furniture, while the outdoor spaces offer breathtaking views of the countryside. You can choose to have your ceremony in the garden, under a charming pergola, or in the beautiful chapel located inside the villa.

After the ceremony, you can enjoy a cocktail hour in the garden or in the courtyard, where you can sample local wines and appetizers while mingling with your guests. The reception can take place in one of the indoor spaces or outside, under a marquee or a tent. The villa can accommodate up to 200 guests, making it a great choice for both intimate and large weddings.

Villa Revedin offers a range of wedding packages that can be customized to fit your needs and preferences. You can choose from different menus, including traditional Italian cuisine and international dishes, and select the wines and desserts that best match your taste. The villa also offers a variety of services, such as floral arrangements, music, transportation, and accommodation for you and your guests.

This young couple had planned their wedding before the pandemic; unfortunately, they had to postpone it for a full three years before they could enjoy that special day together with their guests and even older relatives.

Their wedding in a venetian villa began at the crack of dawn with the bride and groom’s preparations at their parents’ homes respectively with the affection of close relatives and the laughter of some friends. The groom arrived very early at Palazzo Scolari in Polcenigo to await the entrance of the bride for the start of the ceremony. The celebration was conducted in a civil ceremony by an acquaintance of the bride and groom, and the vows were written in the bride and groom’s own handwriting and got everyone excited, especially the bridesmaids. After the rice throwing, well wishes and greetings from the guests after the ceremony, as everyone made their way to the villa and we stayed with the bride and groom to do the wedding couple photoshoot in the center of Polcenigo, an ancient place that offers some very interesting and peaceful photographic views. We then departed to join the other guests and begin the wedding reception festivities at Villa Revedin in Gorgo al Monticano in the province of Treviso.

The aperitif took place in the open air among good food and some jokes from friends and then dinner the dinner inside the venue in a very elegant and refined room with an English tendency. At sunset time we went out to take some pictures in the villa’s park and with the street lamps lit for the evening the atmosphere was really romantic. The wedding cake in front of the fountain in the park, with the lights of the street lamps and with all the guests huddled around the bride and groom marked one of the most exciting moments of the day, too bad that a bad storm came shortly thereafter and everyone ran inside. The organizers of Gap Events raced against time to get flowers, decorations and arrangements inside.

SHOW MUST GO ON! Surely two raindrops won’t stop such an important day, right? Good thing that Enrico Sist always brings good cheer with his simplicity and friendliness and enlivens bride and groom and guests with his music that is the result of a careful and refined selection.

As always, we prefer our pictures to speak for us, so here are some shots of the wedding in a venetian villa Revedin…
